X-men story (on hold)

Logan, I need you to help me find another mutant." Professor Charles Xavier has found a very powerful young mutant using Cerebro.
"What type of abilities this time?" Logan sighs, tired of being sent to fetch new students.
"Telepathy, as powerful as mine." Wolverine starts heading out the office, coat in hand.
"Be careful, I have reason to believe she capable of more." The professor cautions.

'I've done so much, I can't afford to mess up anymore than I already have. I must leave them, for their safety. I'll have to gather all the money I can, in hope of eventually finding somewhere to stay or someone who can help me.'

'Second week after leaving.'
"Are you Miss Barton-Lee?" Logan asked the teen carrying a back pack and duffle bags. She turned around startled.
"Who's asking?" Her stance was confident compared to how terrified she felt.
"Logan, Professor Charles Xavier sent me. He'd like for you to join his school for the gifted." He explained.
'If you mean mutant powers then I accept.' She spoke to him telepathically. He smiled and signaled for her to follow him.

This is my first fan-fic, please remember this when you read it. I plan on writing two other books in this, I guess you could call it, series where she meets the fantastic four and then the avengers. Disclaimer: I am not claiming to own any of the marvel characters. Although I may merge some characters or use certain aspects of their appearance for other characters, I am not pretending (claiming) to own them. Characters that I did create and do (technically) own: Carly, Samantha, the blonde roommate (although she might become Emma Frost once I've watched the movies with her in them)
