Lindsay goes through a lot of difficult situations from her mom's boyfriend, to her friend's dad, to her mom moving, to her moving with dad, to moving schools, to transferring back and losing one of her best friends. Lindsay begins to lose hope, and she begins to get really depressed to the point she feels like suicide is all that's left. She turns to drugs, alcohol, and self-harm. Feeling as if no one cares, she begins to plan her suicide. She does fine in school in hopes that it will keep the attention away from her actions. He grew up to be the "player-heartbreaker" type, and she's the girl who sits in the back of the class and doesn't talk much, yet is as loud as she can be with her friends. When Haylee sees something that she didn't expect from her bully, she starts to believe he isn't as bad as she thinks. She might have to look past his facade she's so familiar with, and see him for a person that she wouldn't expect for him to be.
