People always say that things happen for a reason. Sure, it makes people feel better when something bad happens, like when they lose their wallet on the train or when they get into a minor car accident, or even when they go all out to impress someone for an interview and then they end up not getting the job. But for me, "things happen for a reason" isn't an explanation for what's going on in my life.
I'm Jolie Parrish. I moved to Beacon Hills and enrolled in Beacon Hills High for the second semester of my sophomore year after my parents were killed in a "robbery" of our home. At least, that's what the police called it, but I know the truth. But living with my brother, Jordan Parrish, wasn't that easy. See unlike my brother and my parents, who are hellhounds, I'm a werepanther. Long story. I thought that moving to Beacon Hills would give me a fresh start. Technically, I was right, but it wasn't the fresh start I was expecting.
Most people think that having supernatural powers means a great responsibility and the glory of a million adoring fans. Well here's some news... I'm not Supergirl. I never wanted to be. I just wanted to get out, to go somewhere I could finally feel safe in my own skin. I never wanted to be what I am. It wasn't all bad though. At least I got to meet Liam Dunbar along the way...

Hello. My name is MacKenzie Levesque Gideon. I'm 23 years old and I'm a supervisory special agent for the FBI's BAU and the oldest daughter of two famous wrestlers and business workers Stephanie McMahon and Triple H or Paul Levesque and adopted to Jason Gideon. Let me give you some information about me. When I was four, I was given the gift of intelligence because I read a lot of high school books, college books, and old history literature books. My parents thought nothing of it until my elementary school district noticed how advanced I was so they decided for me to skip elementary school and middle school and head into high school when I was six years old. My mother was shocked about it and wanted me to do however my father didn't think I should due to me being too young. That was one thing that my father disapprove. Skip 4 years and I was about to finish high school so I could get into a one of the colleges I applied but I still had a bad relationship with my dad. It was right in front of stairs so guess how that ended up. I was hospitalized and ended up being in a coma for three weeks. Once I woke up from the coma, the doctors brought in a middle age woman and a police officer. The woman was from Child Protective Services. She was taking me out of my house and flying to California because she found out about my intelligence and about my scholarship to CalTech and my living arrangements to the dorms. I was heartbroken cause I had to leave my mom... and I was angry because my father caused this to happened. Once I got to CalTech, I met my best friend and future boyfriend Spencer Reid. Read to find out! Note below, please read: I give a lot of credit to the writer of "Just a Feeling", @TaesWolfie. When I thought of writing this, I began reading other people's fanfictions to motivate me back into writing while already having a good idea of what I wanted the story to entail, and the ideas I had for my story @TaesWolfie had already used in her story. I changed a lot of my original ideas so that mine didn't seem like a complete carbon copy rip off of hers while still keeping as many of my original ideas as possible. Since we had such similar ideas I don't see it fair to not credit her in some way. I highly recommend you all read "Just a Feeling", it's so well written and is currently in my private library. I have been on this app for a long time, I've read a lot of great writings of fanfictions, and JoF is genuinely the only one I've read that has evoked such strong emotions from me whilst reading that I actually laughed out loud, cried real tears, etc. It's so well written it's like you're watching the show again but you can actually imagine (Y/n) being there and their place in the storyline. I've always loved when writers make playlists for their stories and plan to do so for this one at some point, and for my future works, @TaesWolfie did it for JoF and it's so good, I have it added on my Spotify right now and I highly recommend it as well. With all that said, I hope you enjoy my story.
