Once upon a time I thought I was on top of the world. I thought I had complete control of my life. Well I'm not. I'll be the first one to tell you that I'm one of the most damaged people I know, and I know myself pretty well. I know how dark the world can get. I know that sometimes once you take away a girls smile and her cup of Starbucks, if you care enough to move the beanie out of her eyes you may actually see how she really feels. Of course not if she's like me. I've learned to hide my emotions, pretend everything's all right.
I thought that no one could bring me out of my wonderfully miserable world. Then Jax came back.

"Ava, you have to be quiet! They'll hear you-" Tears started to spill from my eyes, blending in with the rain that dripped down my face. I shouldn't have come here. The last time I followed someone I made accidentally noise and got them killed. I had to get away from Jaxon. I turned on my heel, ready to run to, but Jaxon grabbed my wrist. "Let go" I choked, "I have to leave. You're in danger-" The next thing I knew, his lips crashed onto mine. His arms wrapped around my body, pulling tightly to his chest. "Stop it" I sobbed, unable to control my trembling. "Why are you doing this? Let me go-" "I had to get you quiet" he murmured. "Please Ava. You have to try to calm down. I understand you're scared right now, but you have to trust me. We're going to get home safely. Stay with me a few more minutes, and then we'll get the f*ck out of here. I promise." -- A little about Ava: She has made the long move from Detroit, Michigan to California to escape her gruesome past. She moves in with her older sister, and is ready to start her junior year of high school. Despite the demons she carries, she holds onto hope for a bright future. A little about Jaxon: he's 17, and Oceanview High's resident bad boy. He comes from the Marvel family, a family of cold-hearted millionaires who don't seem to care much about their kids. He's also got a secret only few know, he's a dangerous member, and street racer, for the L.A. gang: Crimson Blaze. -- Achievements: #1 in streetracing #1 in teenromance #2 im highschool #3 in drama Hey all! "But that's the thing though, you'd think you know someone and then they turn out to be something completely different," I tell her honestly. I remember Jason being this perfect gentleman who always allowed me to speak my mind and be in control and as soon as I was his, he turned into a monster. Guys can be very persuasive when they want something and they'd go to the ends of the earth to get it. The harder it is to get, the harder they'll work for it, even if it requires them to change and be someone else but as soon as they got you, you'll see a different side of them. I'm not making any mistakes this time. This story is the sequel to Behind The Lights. New Updates Once A Week😊
