The Betrayed

Darkness has fallen across the land of Ceres. The king has been assassinated and the only heir, Eros, has run away with his cousin, Nikki. The king's adviser, Jerrog, has turned the kingdom against Eros and Nikki, saying that they slaughtered the king in order to gain power over the land. Everyone who sides with Eros is sentenced to death for treason. However, that's not their only problem; Eros suffers from the loss of everything he once knew and Nikki suffers from a dark past that may reveal an even darker plot. Can Eros and Nikki overcome their pasts and stop Jerrog? Or is there an even worse enemy pulling the strings?
