This was one of the first pieces I ever wrote. I was just starting high school, and was going through this weird phase where I got really into my heritage, I'm Mexican. This was around the time that I was also introduced the Robert Rodriguez and his films, particularly the Mariachi Trilogy. As you read you can see it is heavily influenced by that. I wanted to incorporate my friends into the story as well as the girl that I liked at the time, cause that's just what I did. I only got a couple of chapters into this before I moved away and lost the heart to continue/ started to see how much of a rip-off it was. So enjoy.

At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race.
