This was one of the first pieces I ever wrote. I was just starting high school, and was going through this weird phase where I got really into my heritage, I'm Mexican. This was around the time that I was also introduced the Robert Rodriguez and his films, particularly the Mariachi Trilogy. As you read you can see it is heavily influenced by that. I wanted to incorporate my friends into the story as well as the girl that I liked at the time, cause that's just what I did. I only got a couple of chapters into this before I moved away and lost the heart to continue/ started to see how much of a rip-off it was. So enjoy.All Rights Reserved
