Ayn's Healing by AMHillmann
54 parts Complete Mature
Ayn is a witch with healing powers. Shapeshifters have killed her parents and the only animals she cannot speak with are wolves. When she graduates from the Teaching Clan and finds out that she has to cross the River and live in the Wolves' Mountains for one year, she is less than amused. Kari, first-born shapeshifter Alpha, almost lost his wolf after the death of his mate. He could rise again and become the pack leader if only he would complete his training ...and find another suitable Luna. When he realizes that his second chance is his mother's guest, a daydreaming stubborn witch from across the River, he is less than amused. The bond may be a strong force, but can a witch walk the Wolves' Way and face the dangers it is paved with? **** "I need to stop..." I sigh, catching her wrist before her fingers reach the back of my neck, and I untangle her arm from me. She lingers on the recliner but now there is a big gap between our bodies. The warmth she left on my skin is quickly dissipating in the spring night. "Fine." Ayn stands and searches my eyes. Her scowl has my wolf whimper in submission and makes me curse my self-imposed hard line. "I am going to need your hoodie," she orders, stretching her hand out to me. "What?" I exclaim, briefly shocked by both the tone and the content of her words. My hands however are already executing her command, unzipping my jacket. "The last time I was able to sleep, I was covered with your hoodie. Your scent is comforting." She states it plainly as if it would be an obvious and broadly known fact. Like the Earth being round. Like two being a prime number. #1 in Healer - December 2021 #7 in Lycan - December 2022 ~95 000 words Cover photo by Jr Korpa via Unsplash Cover photo by Marc-Olivier Jodoin via Unsplash hi

Where do I go from here? (Disney Twisted Wonderland Fanfic)

17 parts Ongoing

Esme Lightford was all set for a nice, calm day ahead, at least that's what she believed! After celebrating her 16th birthday, she was finally going to uncover the mystery of what happened to her parents. Sounds straightforward, right? Well, things took an unexpected turn when a magical mirror summoned her to another world, adding a surprising twist to her plans! Arriving at Night Raven College, a prestigious arcane academy, was not a part of her plans, especially given that she found herself in an unfamiliar world. But seeing her other relatives here, apart from the staff and students, this made Esme realize there was more to her family than she thought. In that moment, she understood that her family was a tapestry woven with depths and stories she had only just begun to uncover, igniting a spark of hope and connection she had never anticipated. She decided to change her plans and graciously accepted the masked head mage's offer to stay at the academy in search of answers. However, she soon realized that the students here were just as talented as they were unpredictable! Do you think Esme will be able to team up with them and make her way back home? Or will she discover where she truly belongs?
