Almost everything they say about werewolves is a complete lie. Phasing only during a full moon is complete bullocks, for one. Werewolves phase wherever and whenever they choose. Werewolves are also not ugly, half-bald, humanoid creatures that bay at the full moon and devour people, they are fully wolf like in every way except size. They are larger, but just slightly. Not bigger than bears, for that's impossible. Another thing about werewolves that is false is that being bitten by a werewolf will not change you into one yourself, to be one you must be born one. If you are bitten by a werewolf, chances are you won't live to see the coming day. And most of them have chosen not to live wildly, but instead live like real humans.

What is true, though, is that they are ruthless when hunting, though most of them do prefer to just go to the grocery store and get whatever smells the freshest. Yes, that's right, they like to shop even though some households do find it cheaper to just hunt for what they need. Full packs range from 30-50 adult wolves with many adolescents and children within families. Most of them live in one smallish community under their alphas, much like normal wolf packs.

Now, I'm sure you're wondering as to how I know these things. Well, I am a werewolf. Shocker, no? Anyways, this is my story. I'm Abby, nice to meet you.

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
