11 years ago today, I was left. Brought to the Leaky Cauldron by muggle parents, I was dropped off at the small steps. I hardly knew them, and I don't remember their faces in the slightest. I've always thought of them as pathetic for giving me up. I suppose, though, they did me a load of good in the long run.

My name is Draco Lucius Malfoy. I am a racist, I despise gingers and mudbloods, and my parents work for the man who killed James and Lily Potter, as well as many other magical people. This is how I grew up. Knowing only those facts for eleven years, being taught that everyone was beneath me. I continued to think this way for five more years, and regretfully, until after I agreed to kill Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of the school I enjoyed attending. Then I finally understood.
