Mel Asher, an average werewolf. Sure, average. Her parents? Nothing special. Her bestfriends? The Alpha's and Beta's son. Her fighting skills? Better than everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, other than the Alpha, and Mel could easily beat him - in wolf form. Her wolf, Valerie, is biggest in her pack. Did I mention that she is only 17? Well, she is.

17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body.
