Vicious men raided the town, leaving a foul scent everywhere. Taking women and children and killing men along the way. They soon captured my mother. I watched her be thrown into a wagon, seeing her dirty blonde hair and her green eyes disappear into a sack. "Run Jane! Run!" She screamed, and then the wagon was off. Right to the castle.
I began running between the cottages to get to the path that led out of town to make sure I wasn't caught. I was almost there to reaching the path, until a dark figure blocked the way. I could feel his stare on me. "You." He boomed.
