"As of now people are dying evidently people become depressed and aggressive to one and other. They all used to live in harmony and happiness, that was until the 'things started to raise. The 'things' are as you would call it zombies but of greater skill. They disguise themselves as humans yet they will not hesitate to kill you and eat you. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. That is all I can tell you for the moment Lexi, but know their are people waiting for your arrival, and we are waiting for you to end this suffering race." The Infection that helped bring the world to its knees also changed humans in ways to help them keep living in this now broken world ready to be rebuilt. Seven lineages with three strains each, and each have their own unique set of traits that help us survive. But that's not what this story is about-at least, not really. This story isn't about how a hero will rise and bring the world back to what it was Pre-Fall. This story is about me, an ordinary Remanat living life through the world day to day as a mercenary. A beginner mercenary as everyone likes to remind me. The others in my group have been calling me 'Rookie' since I joined them three months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if they actually know my name. We have been hired to help the New Reach Caravan travel across the wastelands to Philly Del Phia, and this is the perfect opportunity to show them that I'm not just a dumb Rookie. Traitors (Damned of the 2/19th - Book Five) - Finished by TimothyWillard

His confidence and body still damaged by the explosion at Atlas early in the year and his bloody war with his family, Anthony Stillwater has been assigned to Rear-D for the third year in a row. With him is Bomber and Nancy; Aine and Foster on leave, Cromwell at Special Weapons school, and the rest of the squad dead, the trio have no backup in a unit that has forgotten they even exist. With no allies present, no reputation and trust with the others on Rear-D, and still suffering from the events of the last year, the outcome is in doubt if anything goes wrong during the winter. It's Alfenwehr, it's winter, and Tandy is on the loose, so of course things will go wrong. This is a rough draft, only having undergone minor timeline updates and name replacements.

Isolation & Fear (Damned of the 2/19th Book Seven) by TimothyWillard

The Atlas crew has been torn apart. Most have ETS'd or left the military due to injuries incurred in line of duty. Of the original crew, only a handful remain. Trauma and shared pain have begun to drive apart the surviving members of Echo-Five-Actual. The Atlas Crew, mostly wiped out in a deadly explosion the year before, is fragmenting as promotions, replacements, and drop on requests have left the crew with more new faces than old. Those who remain of Echo-Five-Actual have been split into different work crews, promoted, ETS's, left due to injuries, or died. Accidents and a coordinated strike by the KGB have wreaked havoc on III CosCom, VII Corps and V Corps ability to wage war if the Soviet Union decides to invade Western Europe, and this has hit 2/19th hard. With most of the effective and experienced members dead, missing, or in the hospital, 2/19th's chain of command is shattered and people have slipped through the cracks. Including Stillwater, who is trapped, alone, on the mountain. And Cromwell, who is locked in the War Fighter Tunnels with 18 women, 7 of them pregnant, three infants, and two male soldiers undergoing chapters to put them out of the military. Bomber and Nagle are hospitalized, having barely survived the attacks that killed many other members of the unit. Bomber is comatose, the bullet meant to kill him trapping him in memories and dreams of the past. Nagle is in ICU, unable to speak after having been shot through the throat. The main one a giant red, black, and white "A" on it. When she finished writing, she closed her private book. The girl gripped it as if her life was inside those solemn pages. Across from the green field of tall grass, a convoy of sleek black trucks and cars pull up. The tan girl approaches the man who disembarks from the middle truck. NO USER INPUT DETECTED STARTING SYSTEM SHUTDOWN... ... .. no Sergeant Stillwater is a highly trained Special Weapons soldier, trained by the US Army to fight and win on the nuclear battlefield. Stationed on a mountaintop in the Fulda Gap during the Cold War, the barracks is buried beneath meters of snow every winter and the Rear Detachment cut off from all help. Every prior year has resulted in dozens of deaths and wounded via enemy action or madness induced violence. This year he's woken up, badly injured, on the floor of a barracks room, with no clue how he got there, who he had for backup, or why he's been left for dead by persons unknown. He's not completely there, his brain malfunctioning and even the lizard unable to get all his systems running. But someone has let the winter into the barracks, and Sergeant Stillwater, badly wounded and barely more than a dangerous animal himself, has to survive in Arctic conditions and see, not only who he has to defeat to survive, but who else might need his help.

A working man begins to have dreams of an apocalyptic future. At first he thinks it's stress that makes him dream strange things, but as the dreams start to become more realistic his way of he begins to change. "I hope these dreams don't come true," he said. These dreams show him a daunting future and it all gets worse when he realizes that this future is fast approaching. Our protagonist will have to face a variety of problems and dangerous situations, and he will have to decide what kind of future he will choose. Maybe our protagonist will decide to live in solitude, facing this future alone. Or perhaps, he will choose to live with the rest of the survivors he encounters facing even greater problems. ---- This is a novel of one person surviving in a zombie apocalypse. At first it will be a slow read, but as the story unfolds we will have a variety of chapters with different plots that will help the story along. This one will have suspense, action, a bit of horror (although I'm not good at that), and romance (a planned harem, but it may change). The title says it's from The Walking Dead (TWD), but the truth is that it's not set in any of the themes of the series or the games. It is a novel that uses the type of zombies that appear in this series, although with some changes. ---- It's my first novel so I accept the critics (I'll dodge the bad critics like Neo dodges the bullets in John Wick HAHAHA). ---- GENRES: ACTION/SUSPENSE/ROMANCE/KINGDOM-BUILDING/HAREM/+18(NOT SURE)/TERROR/THEWALKINGDEAD/TWD/ZOMBIES/SURVIVAL ---- I write for money, so I need the money to come to me with "storks". ---- By the way my native language is not English, in case you haven't noticed, and I rely on several very sophisticated translation tools (Google). ---- The cover image is generated by ai, but I don't know how to use the tool, and that's what resulted. ---- Just in case, this novel is being updated first on Webn0vel, along with my other novels.
