Hunger

I hear the sirens wailing in the distance, it's time for me to leave my most recent meal to be grieved over.

When they get here the paramedics will wonder what kind of monster could do this to his own species. They will scream in horror at their discoveries, the findings tarnishing their dreams for nights to come.

And while they scream and howl at this barbarity I will walk silently into the darkness, looking for my next meal.
