The Warlock's Chair.

A place of magic and adventure.

Long ago when the world was young the Faerie races ruled far and wide across the lands of the Earth.

With the Empire in chaos following the war with Ravengaard and the return of the Chained. The Elves hoped for a time of peace and tranquillity. A time free from war and conflict. They would use it to rebuild their kingdom. Then once again the Elven Empire could rise up and take its rightful place at the head of the Faerie races.

But others are using the turmoil for their own ends. Using it to sow seeds of mistrust and lies amongst the population.

Lord Arilach and his Helven rise from the shadows, spreading their pestilence throughout Ellyonia.

As disorder spreads across the land, Prince Dauld seeks to wrest power from the Elven Council and take back his dead fathers crown.

So begins a race against time to prevent a civil war that will tear apart the Elven lands and destroy them forever.

That time is now...

❅| "Even a vastness can no longer shelter you... or engulf your dream." ⊱⋅ ──────────── ⋅⊰ [UNDER EDITING/REDRAFTING] To a world seemingly shrouded in a cloak of safety and eternal peace, death is an unimaginable concept. Yet for those whose rule of life was mere survival, perhaps that's a different situation. For those who stood in the face of adversity, for those who refused to give in to the castigation of their lives, life has no sweetness to it. Merely the bitter tang of a blood-chilling revenge. To avenge a loved one or perhaps even their own pain, the murderous intent behind their deceitful eyes is unmistakable. For to them, lamenting about the past is a life lost to the cruel hands of fate. What happens when a woman as brilliant as the morning sun provides a haven in one's dreams? What happens when she, despite the agonies life carried, says to abandon everything right here and now and leave? Alcestis did not need to be told twice. Seizing the chance to escape the horrible clutches of her grandparents, she sets out on a journey to find the Elementals - a band of heroes protecting the human realm from those that lied beyond, headed by her parents. She knew of the darkness that festered within her; she knew of the hatred that danced in her heart. More than anything, she knew the extents of how fragmented her soul was. What, perhaps, would unfold when she sets out on her journey, leaving behind the world she knew; leaving behind what hopefulness remained in her battered heart? None would heed her an answer, indeed. None save for the rage that tainted her being.

"After so long the pain becomes a tingly numbness that helps rock you to sleep. Only I couldn't tell if I'd wake and yet, every time I did I'd curse that I woke." The end of a fantasy revolution created by lust for power but ended by forbidden love of elf and human. Humans don't deserve a world as grand and beautiful as this one with wild nature like no world has seen before with creatures beautiful and grand. The Elves being the first race of beings to walk the planet through study of life and peace they gained the trust of the sun and moon giving them elemental powers as the humans were still new to the world. Quickly the race of mankind evolved at greater speeds than the elves and territories began being drawn when the beautiful magical beings couldn't take the change of the land anymore. Using their Earth gifts, they create a canyon to divide their races and growing mountains around the elvish land. The two kinds live separate lives for centuries- tell a forbidden love rose between a man and elf. The love didn't last as he grew old, and she stayed young- remaining friendship resided between them so the earth elves build a bridge and paths to let them live in harmony. As years passed, they taught humans the magic their world has gifted them, and The Selfish race saw their power wishing for such greatness for themselves they destroy the elven race and demolish their center city of Amma. Years pass and elves still secretly live among mankind waiting for their time to rise again.

Welcome to the twin worlds of Ramnor and Rimnor: lush, beautiful, and magical. They are also the center of the Maker's universe, the cornerstone on which all of Creation is built. If one, or both are destroyed, then Creation itself will begin to unravel. And destruction of those worlds is the goal of the Lords of the Abyss, masters of the shadows that haunt the edges of Reality. To that end, they long ago gathered a vast army of demonspawn and made their war on Reality, defeated at the last possible moment by an alliance of mortal races and by the hand of the Creator themselves. Despite their defeat, the Lords have not given up trying to destroy all of Reality. And now, tens of thousands of years after their initial defeat, they once again threaten to destroy everything that ever was. Except this time even fewer will stand against them. And they themselves don't even know who they are, and what they are fated to do. Can this meager handful discover their destiny before it's too late and all of Reality dies in demon fire? Join heroes from the Humans, the Elves, the centaur-like Quada, the cat-like Muraan, and the fish-like Picea as they learn of their fates and struggle against the vanguard of evil that threatens to wash them away in the first book of the Sons of Ironstorm Chronicles, 'Griffon's Rise'. I hope you enjoy.
