The first proper conversation that Mycroft ever really had with Lestrade was outside Sherlock's hospital room. The only time the two had ever talked was through phoned requests, that were more like orders and general inquires about Sherlock's well being. After Sherlock is sent to hospital after an accident at work, Mycroft and Lestrade have a conversation that ends badly. Sherlock decides that his brother is lonely and is needing to find his 'goldfish' or even better, his 'dolphin.'

Emotional Context

11 parts Complete Mature

After the fallout from Eurus and Sherringford Sherlock's first mistake was sending Mycroft to deal with Molly and the phone call. From there Molly and Mycroft start an unlikely friendship. Sherlock's second mistake was that he waited months to speak with her regarding the phone call. When Sherlock finally confronts Molly about his feelings he is shocked to see her hesitant and more than a little confused. Did Sherlock wait to long? While taking a much needed holiday, Molly meets a very interesting woman who opens her eyes to the value she has. Molly exams her life and finally finds who she truly is and what she wants. Once she returns to London Sherlock is not prepared for the new Molly, but Mycroft embraces it. Which man will she give her heart to? I do not own the characters of BBC's Sherlock. I simply lovingly borrow them and return them were I found them!
