I was born in space. I have never seen the outside world. Why? I can't. The Ark only allows one child each couple, my mother decided otherwise. 

Sadly, I got caught from a inspection. I was put in impressment just for being born and my mother was floated. But, I did make a friend there, Octavia Blake. Same situation as me. We grew close until we were separated. 

At age sixteen I was sent down on Earth to see if it was livable, with 100 people of course. We were very creatively called, The 100. 

I was back with my best friend and I thought nothing was better. That is, when I met Bellamy Blake, her brother.
