Modern Merlin AU and Mergana fanfiction.
When Camelot fell, only Merlin was left. He was alone and broken. Waiting on a prophecy that failed him. But Arthur has returned. Is Merlin really the same Merlin he left behind?
With every good thing that happens, evil follows closely behind, hoping to catch the stragglers. Morgana is not so eager to let her plans fail this time.

I started writing this in 2018 when I was still a teenager, but I'm in my 20s now and don't feel comfortable continuing to write it. Part of the appeal of writing this book back then was the spiciness and drama. The only way I'd feel right continuing this book is if I left those parts out, but then it wouldn't be same. Merlin ends up getting hurt and is eventually captured by Morgana. Originally, she plans to use him to kill Arthur. However, what would happen if she were to see his scars? What if she were the one to discover that there's more to Merlin than meets the eye? How will she react when she finds out that Merlin is more that just a servant? ***** So like I said before this starts out with like the first 5 minutes of A Servant of Two Masters. If you have seen the scars type of stories before, this is a little bit like that. The difference is, it's Morgana that sees his scars first, which sparks some interesting conversations.
