River Sanders. Cold, repulsive, and rude, and an orphan child with no where to go. Being tossed around homes and families through out his whole life, River doesn't know how much more he can take.

So when he gets put into a foster home with sarcastic, witty, and ambitious Rosie Dorrity, he doesn't know how he's suppose to live with them for the next year.

If fire and water, sun and snow, day and night don't go together, how are River and Rosie suppose to?
