"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance
Hunting the Fairy Tale by MaggieOHighley

When Willow Mayfair's life falls apart, her mother brings her to Briar Cove, the coastal town where she grew up. Living with Rebecca's childhood friend, a new world filled with love, excitement, and friendship opens up for both of them. This story is for everybody who also dreams of a fairy tale and won't care if the "knights" were a little dirty. "Grab a bunch of broken misfits, chuck them in a tribe, add some glitter and loads of weird-ass garbage, voila, you've got yourself a fairy tale... kinda... just... you know... minus the fairies..." Paisley Davenport This story is my happy place; I do not plan on ever finishing it. It will go on and on like a soapie. I might break it up into volumes later. This book is ideal for forgetting the world and becoming best friends with the characters. Please Note:- I'm currently rewriting this story to edit and enhance parts. I'm also breaking up long chapters. Though the reading flow will not be broken, the chapter numbers will become out of sync at the border between old and new. ♫ Genre: Slice of Life/Romance/Humour This is a slow-burn journey through love and life, filled with an array of beloved characters, their sad moments, happy moments and a multitude of bat-sh#t crazy moments. P.S.: This is not a fairy tale... ♫ This is a work of fiction. Any names or characters, businesses or places, events or incidents are fictitious. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. TW: Please be advised that this story contains references to violence (sexual and other), drugs, anxiety, mental health issues, abuse and other possibly upsetting themes. COMPLETED, CURRENTLY EDITING/PARTIALLY REWRITING (please excuse the mess. Some of the plot is being changed so there might be a few areas that get confusing, nothing too much though) Funny how life decides to act like a roller coaster. The ups and down come in a split second. You can't decide whether you want fast or slow. Dangerous or steady. But you don't get a choice. You go with the flow. No matter what. I'm Phoenix Wood, the misfit, and outcast of my town. Instead of a roller coaster my life's more like a train wreck. My adventure loving parents were lost at sea and I was left to my aunt Clare Small. Like I said, train wreck... Not roller coaster, TRAIN WRECK. Not to mention the fact that I end up stuck with the bad boy. Could it get any worse? Secrets unravel and life gets a bit more complicated that it used to be. But it must go on. She's stuck with the bad boy. Or is it the other way around? Maybe he's stuck with the bad Girl... * WARNING: this book is my first work, it'll be a bit rough at the start and sometimes I'll accidentally mess up the story line or it will seem ridiculously stupid, so read at your own risk (I will admit, this book is like my baby, so please be kind when correcting my errors). It gets much better about half way through. If you'd like to read a book of mine that is much better written, go to my profile and find the book Breathe Me. Thanks! (Seriously though, there's a TON of mistakes, some made because I'm currently editing, so the story line could get confusing in some places) Originally published: 2 / 13 / 2014 Completed: 1 / 9 / 2017 Finished Editing: (Not finished yet) Highest rank: #303 in Teen Fiction (1-10-2017)

A Message From Future Aqua: Hello. This is the first book I've ever written and completed. Excuse the style, and excuse some cringy writing. Those are the cons I have with this book, but I do like how it turned out. It's not masterpiece, but it has a charm to it. With that mind, if you would like to still read this story, I appreciate it. _______________________ Heather A. Williams is just your everyday teenager that every kid wants to be: Rich and Famous. Unfortunately, she doesn't want that kind of life. So when High School is right around the corner, she decides to change her image into a typical teenager, the life she always wanted to have...
