Now she has a major problem. Now Alice needs to decide on if she's going to accept her mate, or if she's going to keep running from the thing that she loves most in the world. This is their story. Exerpt of the story from chapter 3: I finaly start to get to a shallow spot in the water, so I know that the shore is not far away, which is a very good thing because I have tired myself out to the point where I need to catch my breath. It gets so shallow that I cant swim anymore so I begin to drag myself up onto the shore. I make it up far enough that only the tip of my tail is still getting wet because of the on coming waves. I lay my head down in the sand and breath heavaly so that I can take enough oxygen back into my lungs. suddenly, there is a shadow standing above me and when I look up, I see the horifyed expression of my mate. Well crap. Mature content with mild cursing. small amount of abuse detail along with a small amount of sexual content, I promise nothing major if you dont want to read things like that!!Concluida

She struggled to survive and belong among her kind. On a night when she sought to end her life at sea, she was rescued by Elsen, a merman who had once felt the same as her. Despite coming from different worlds, their shared experiences instantly built a bridge between them. When misfortune struck again, Henrietta lost her home and was driven to the edge once more. Seeing that she had nowhere else to go, Elsen brought her to his home in the deep sea. Although the ocean depths were tranquil and soothing, Henrietta's heart was still plagued with worries. And she soon discovered that Elsen also had yet to defeat his own demons. Will these two broken souls finally heal and come to love not only each other but themselves as well?Concluida
