“Simple things became simply difficult with you. It was worse after you left. it was all the tragedies the great poets explained, the birds stopped singing the flowers stopped growing. Everything stopped. I even stopped writing, in fact this letter is the most contact I've made a pen and paper in a very long time. It feels really good. I’m already picturing the look on your face and I know you’re disappointed. I have no doubt about that. I’ve stopped writing mostly because I can’t remember what it's like to be inspired by the sunrise or what it's like to write uninfluenced by you. All the ink spills is you. I’m afraid once I pick up that pen I’m going to flower words into extravagant bouquets but when simply put I miss you, I’m sorry, I love you. You’ve always told me I have a way with words and it's true. I have a way of swindling them into bricks to build up my walls. This is me breaking down those walls. I'm writing to be forward, like you always asked me too. I should have said all these things before, and maybe its too late. You don’t have to respond to this pathetic attempt at making up for lost time but it would be really nice to hear from you. I am in love with you. You don’t have to love me back. I am going to give you my heart.”
