Typical. Ordinary. Unexceptional. Normal. That's how the day started. It mirrored every other day of my life. I awakened to a steamy summer morning in Mongolia, took a long bath, got dressed in the same old shorts and tank top, and plopped down in my writers chair and wrote a quick letter to my mother. Then headed off for an unknown journey of a lifetime.
