The sequel to One Day Is Today.

"Some people say 'like mother, like daughter', to be truly honest my mother and I are nothing alike and we are certainly nothing like my grandmother."

This is a second generation story based on the life of Kaylin Halstead, the daughter of Erin Lindsay Davis Halstead and Jay Halstead.

The Halstead's moved to Tree Hill from Chicago after Erin's adoptive mother Bunny let go of a secret she has kept for nearly 30 years at her daughter's wedding.

This installment picks up in 2035, as Kaylin finishes her first year of college with her cousin and best friend.

Take the journey with her as she comes of age in Tree Hill, North Carolina.

A Family Affair

21 parts Complete

It had been almost a decade since Jay had first noticed the drastic and sudden change of attitude coming at him from his niece Olivia, and still to this present day Jay is convinced she doesn't like him, which didn't make sense because for the first three years of Olivia's life she would often choose her uncle Jay over her own parents. Jay just misses being able to share a room with her, to talk to her, and he would do anything to fix what had gone wrong all those years ago - if only he knew what had happened in the first place. So Jay finally says that he's had enough and takes the matters into his hands, on a quest to gain back the strong relationship he and his niece once had. But in order to do that, Jay might need to reveal the one thing he had been keeping a secret all this time, the one thing he swore he would take to the grave. - mostly a Halstead Brothers and Upstead fic, with manstead scattered in quite frequently -
