  He had been running from some weird-bull-bear-humanoid thing. His spells bounced off it and collided with other trees. He hadn't expected this when he moved to New York to get away from the war.

  Everything also happens to Percy Jackson. He's the special one again, the exception. He thought that would stop after he had won the Battle of Manhattan. But, as someone so rare it's stupid appears, it's evident Percy isn't done being the special one.
