Cara is moving from London to Oxford, Georgia to finish high school whilst visiting her grandparents. Just as she becomes friends with a girl named Veru, Cara becomes suspicious about Veru's strange acts. Cara discovers that Veru is an orphan who lives with her brother Tyler and their friends Michael, Jonie, and Lilie. Veru has no background history and no identification. Digging deeper into Veru's history, Cara seems to be growing feelings for Veru. As the love story goes on Cara seems to learn a secret, a secret that could change everything. Veru is not who she says she is.
