At twenty-one, Jane Greene has no direction in life. She's broke and living in a small apartment with a pathetic babysitting job. With dead parents and a successful fashion designer older sister, Jane is desperate to find her "thing." Then it hits her. Literally. She tries out tennis for the first time and ends up failing miserably. But when she manages to find someone willing to coach her for free, she realizes that everything may be working out for her. Especially when her coach is one of the finer male specimen.

Cali Olsen was on a mission to drive across the country. But her broken down car left her stranded until a stranger offered her a place to stay. And even though it was nice, she wasn't supposed to stay on the farm; let alone for six months. But something in her gut told her to stay - and she soon figures out why. Jay Roberts was your typical twenty year old. Partying, late nights and fun. But more than anything, he wanted to come home. And his mistakes brought him back. But he shows up and discovers a mystery girl has turned the farm upside down. And he can't figure out why. It also doesn't help that the girl wants to remain a mystery. Over the course of a long summer, two people will discover their need for not only each other, but to be saved. [WARNING: this is an old story from my earlier days as a writer; it's severely unedited and somewhat cringe-worthy - read at your own risk.]
