When Lynn, a depressed, anti-social Bostonian schoolgirl plagued with a debilitating speech disorder, is forced to make a presentation with a partner in her science class, she falls into a pit of hysteria. But her partner, Peter, may just be the one person she needs to overcome her disabilities and fight back against the society that ostracized her.
