In a world of floating islands and flying ships sailing over a never ending Storm, the whaler Arshion is returning to port after two years plying the empty skies for the wealth of oil. On the final leg of their journey, they are attacked by Agerzak pirates and it's up to Rhione, the ship's carpenter, to keep the Arshion in the air long enough to save her fellow crew and her young son.
