Katie Redwing is a small town girl. She is in the Cherokee tribe. She lives the normal life that she is used to going to Meetings and training to be the next Wise Woman or medicine woman. She isn't like her other family members. She is part something. Something powerful and it is causing some crazy powers to appear. When a flame starts in her home she manages to get out but the rest of her family is dead. She is sent off to California to live with her Aunt, and go to a school with Vampire's, Werewolf's, Fairies ,Mermaids,  and lots of other creatures. But the worst one of all was that there were rave mockers around, and they want to kill her.
