After managing to make a boat, Emi returns home with a sword in hand with and the newly accustomed ability to shift into five animals. She is determined to be a guardian for her city, protecting her home from evil. The rest of her family is believed to be dead... or so she thinks.
While discovering everything she missed in those 12 years, Emi takes a run in horse form. Captured by men who want to auction her- she manages to fight for her freedom until to be beaten down.
