"When you turn sixteen the first words they say to you appear on your wrist. If you meet them before you turn sixteen, they'll appear the day before you meet them. If they die before you meet them...their name appears in black ink instead." 

Or so that's what they all said. 

Cas didn't have an opinion. She thought it was a fun idea but was never entirely sure if she believed it.

This would soon change for the both of them.

When feelings come into play and they realize they care about one another as more than just friends, they have some decisions to make. They both feel broken, but together they find they really weren't at all.

This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU.
