After Mark Fischback visited his family in Cincinnati, he agreed to take care of his niece, Sora, while his brother and sister-in-law are on a business trip somewhere in Europe and can't take her with them for a month. Mark agrees, but soon finds that caring and understanding a fourteen year-old girl can be hard work, and soon both of them face problems that impact them on different scales.
