She still remembers the day it happened; mothers holding their children in a tight embrace, growls and screams erupting outside the closed door whilst she whimpered and sobbed with her mother in the corner of the room. How a large man came bursting through the wooden doors and throwing us outside of the mansion threatening us.

“Look at you, your weak Alpha mate couldn’t even save you. Now you’re going to die a tragic death.” The tall man sneered, enjoying seeing them cower away.

“We give you 10 minutes to run, if we find you then you and your beloved daughter die but if we don’t you are given a second chance unless we see you again. Your ten minutes start now.” He smirked and watched them run deep into the forests.

She remembers her mother saying soothing words to her, comforting her and telling her directions to a cave, telling her to leave immediately as she reluctantly obeyed, making her one of the few who had survived that traumatic experience, from then she decided she never wanted a mate.
And that’s how she ended up here, by making a deal with Jonathan Clarke. The deal was that he protects her and trains her until she wants but in return she has to do as he says, let him control her. Being young she accepted but turning 17 she wanted to be independent so she left to live in a new city, a new life.
Lets see what happens when she finds out that the person she loved most and saved her life is still alive.
