The world was descending into chaos, the dead are walking and ripping folks to shreds. Life had never been perfect or easy but it was better then this new broken life she was forced to survive in now. Shaylyn Dixon came from a broken family. She didn't get to see her daddy much and her momma worked hard to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads. Could a 13 year old make it on her own in this cruel world. Would she find her dad or uncle? Or would she lose herself and become another of the walking dead?
