Stiles Stilinski is about to start his senior year at Beacon Hills Highschool. This should be an exciting time in his young life, but instead he is consumed by the events of this summer; Not only were there more supernatural baddies than usual out in force this summer, but Stiles also felt like his personal life was a bit of a rollercoaster. Lydia, whom Stiles has been in love with since the third grade, has gotten very cozy with deputy Parrish. However, Stiles shouldn't let that impact him, right? He has a beautiful girlfriend named Malia, who happens to be a werecoyote.. But something else was gnawing away at his emotions.. Derek Hale. Derek left at the beginning of the summer with Braedon to help track down the elusive "Desert Wolf." Stiles has not heard from Derek in over three months. But why did that bother him so much? Derek is a short-tempered, arrogant control freak! Or at least that's the front he puts on for everyone. But Stiles knew the real Derek and he missed him..
