Dan Howell is everything anyone would want to be in high school. He's popular, all the girls want him and he has a huge reputation. He's also a said homophobic. To maintain that reputation, he has to put down everyone that gets in his way. 

Phil Lester is exactly the opposite of Dan Howell. He lives his life in silence, in order to remain unnoticed. People rarely acknowledge his existence, and when they do, it's not in a friendly way. His parents are never home, and when they are, they're fighting.

On one faithful day, during an attempt to flee from all his demons, Phil's life takes a giant turn.

But not in the way he had expected it to be.
