Before the fame it was always Hazel and August, they were best friends but their bond was more like siblings. Through the hardships between them and the ones that they kept secrets from each other, they promised to have each other's back. That promise lasted through elementary school, junior high, and high school. This bond created a romantic relationship between the two and it also created a baby girl named Skylar Lizette Alsina. Because even the subburbs of New Orleans weren't safe, Hazel's aunt bought them a house in California. To make money for their new family, August began singing for local clubs and he was soon discovered then signed to Def Jam Records.
Three years later after August's Testimony tour, after August let his ego take over his personality, after Hazel lost her best friend they decided it was no point in trying to fix things. They decided that co-parenting was the best thing they could do for themselves and Sky. As Hazel tries to move on with her life when her new prince charming, Dreux, comes to her rescue, August desperately tries to get his family back. Will this love triangle resolve itself or will this bring out the ghetto in everyone?

It was 5 years later. Time has changed. The seasons came and gone as did people. With his parents troublesome separation, 19-year-old Kairo was growing into the man he once aspired to be like; his father. But just because he looked and moved like him, didn't mean that he was anything like the man who had fucked up a good thing with his mom, or was he? He had girls, older and younger gawking and chasing after him. His family saw him as one person but in their absence, touring the streets with young Zaire, he was a different person. Despite all of that, there was love brewing; old and new and Kairo was aware of one in particular. But how far would a person be willing to go for love? Would they die for it? Could he stand back and watch another man love the woman that his father should have? Kairo knew of the man in his mother's life even if she tried to deny things. The only question he had for his father was; What Will It Take? Zaire was a lot like his father in many ways but he was still a sweetheart but proved on many occasions that he had no problems with getting his hands dirty. When you put those two together, you were bound to get into trouble. Then we had Ava, baby girl was 20 going on 21 and had graduated high school with honors and earned her associate's degree in nursing and was currently working on her last two years to earn her bachelors in fashion. She was still friends with Kayla and Michelle but was sure to kick it with Michelle every once in a while, being that her father was still trying to dig up dirt on King. The twins were grown, out of college, traveling here and there and supporting the Goonies' success of being drafted into the NBA two years ago. They were playing for the Phoenix Suns for the time being until a newer opportunity presented itself and they visited as often as they could during the offseason. Sweet little Assyria was 16, in her junior year with Zaire, both ready to get the heck out of school. ©️_jasthewriter

"𝔼𝕍𝔼ℝ𝕐 𝔽𝔸𝕄𝕀𝕃𝕐 ℍ𝔸𝕊 𝕊𝔼ℂℝ𝔼𝕋𝕊" - - - "My name is Hazel, but most people call me Ze. I'm from Melbourne, and love Taylor Swift." I cringe at my own words, and think back to a time where Fletcher was one of the only people calling me Ze. "Does anyone have questions for Miss. Bolivi?" Fletcher asks, and I hate the way my father's last name sounds on his lips. Lots of students raise their hands, and I feel overwhelmed. People actually want to learn something about me? "Yes, Miss. Abbott. Ask away," Fletcher says to one of the girls who is seated at a table at the front of the class, with other kids who all look bitchy like her. "Are you related to the Bolivi brothers?" Her disgustingly sweet voice pukes out. "My last name is Bailey," I say coldly, hating how that was her only query about me. - - - Hazel Bailey. She's your typical Australian teenage girl. From going out with friends every Friday night, to crushing on university boys. But what happens when this seemingly normal girl experiences the loss of her mother?
