I often wonder how I ended up on a boat at sea with a sea crusty pirate, 17 stale pies, a rare African jewel and a tight rope walker with a penchant for musical theatre. As the wave crash against the sides of the boat, I am remind of the last meal I ate and how I am pretty sure it is going to greet the floor soon. 
But I am sure you too are wondering how this all began. 
I am not going to lie to you. I am not entirely certain I know myself. All that I know is that it all began with a night when I went to see Belladum's Circus.

Imagine a box. Any box you want. It could be a vintage chestnut chest imported from France, or a simple moldy cardboard box. Either way, it serves the same purpose, being shoved away in the corners of your dusty attic, with a variety of miscellaneous forgotten treasures. You never realise it's up there, abandoned in the thick coating of dust and neglect, until one day, it's all gone. It's always gone just when you discover that its contents may have been key to uncovering the troubled past of that box. But how much would it matter? How far would you go to retrieve the lost broken reveries? My name is Sea. It's a strange name, I know, especially since I can't recall ever being near a sea, but my folks have always been rather strange people. At least, from what I can remember. I've never really known them, but my whole life has been formed around their existence. The things I have learned from them could be looked at as troubled lessons of the world I lived in, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, accepting that fact could only be the beginning. This is all that I had gained from my life, and everything my parents gave me. This is all that they had left behind.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

Why Am I Elena Gilbert? by crazyKate92

You know, the idea of ending up in a fictional world such as this was supposed to be funny especially as Elena Gilbert because it could be throughly entertaining and disastrous. The best part, you're either dreaming a really long funny-messed up dream or you died and at least (most likely - hopefully) if you die you may end up back in your own body or you'll end up somewhere else you can mess everything up.
