When Alia Albright's grandmother dies she is devastated. Not having a particularly good relationship with her widowed mother, Marin Albright, Alia's grandmother was always her go to person for everything. Boys, School, friends etc. Alia is sure that nothing will ever be the same again and with no one that she trusted as much as her grandmother she shuts down, hardly talking to anyone.
