That is all Jessica feels. After so many years of pain, and grief, she feels numb. She doesn't know why she's like this, but she isn't complaining. It's easier to get through life without emotion. Less hassle. Some say she is ruthless, and maybe they're right. But she doesn't care. Almost everyone fears her, except for her superiors. Though they only love her because she can get the job done. It's the same every time. Which only makes it easier for her. Find it, kill it, leave it.

When something suddenly changes, the world that Jessica has so carefully surrounded herself in, comes apart ever so slowly. Her false securities gone, Jessica is left to find who she really is, and who is really there for her.
