I'm June. I'm about seventeen years old (about to be eighteen, mind you). I'm an average girl with average hair, average height, average weight and average looks. I have a handful friends but my only best friend is Chris. He is an average person like me. My favorite color is red and for some reason Chris thinks I am an idiot to like it. The reason for his weird hamartia is that he hates Taylor Swift. Like I'm not a fan of her either but I do like red! Never mind.
My story is probably the most average one out there. I mean no excitement or buzz, just routine. But you see, I tend to live an extraordinary life. Yes, I'm inspired by Augustus Waters.
So this year, I thought, as I like summer and I was born in summer and Chris hates summer, I shall make an unforgettable summer!

Usually I'd stay up in my room all day bundled up under my covers watching rom-coms on repeat and crying because I'd be thinking about how I would be dying in just a few months-- or years. No one knows when the time is going to come. But that's when I met my best friend-- Ashton Williams. He once told me one day when I was doing the usual (sitting in my room watching rom-coms on repeat while crying) to live a little before the day I die. I took his advice, and wow, let's say I'm extremely glad for him telling me that... Because there's a first time for everything when it comes to making a bucket list.
