Amba: A Reincarnation of lust for Love of Bhism
We are going to see this story from the perspective of Kashi Princess Amba who longed to marry King Shantanu and Ganga Putra Bhism but was brutally rejected by him for several times. What will happen if a 21st century girl, student of Psychology, suddenly discovered herself reincarnated as Princess Amba? What was she had to find herself amidst the political turmoil of India when the fate of a girl was already decided by her patiarchial society long before her birth? Why she went after Bhism after being rejected repeatedly? Would her own 21st century mindset be helpful for her or put prove to be an obstacle in her road? The pressing question was could she change the well known destiny of Princess Amba or not? This is my third story on Mahabharata series. I like this fiesty warrior princess for her struggle through her two different births to avenge her insult. This story is very close to my heart. The time set of this fictional story was both ancient age of India at the time of Mahabharata and also 21st century. This is my original unpublished fan- fiction type story. I did not want hurt anyone's feelings. I just try to unravel the inner psychology of Kashi state's beautiful Princess Amba after rejection by Bhism and her simultaneous transformation to Sikhandini and Sikhandi. My story is loosely based on Mahabharata but in most part of my imagination. All the pictures are taken from the public domains. Images courtesy: Google Chrome and Pinterest.Complete

Blood Moon Princess
It is the autumn equinox, or the death day, the time to contact those that have gone before. Everyone closes their eyes and are silent to commune with the spirits. I had never tried to contact spirits before. But this year I seek my mother. She died this day, fourteen years ago; my birthday. My position in the ceremony is shadow maker. This is a role that I have played since I was old enough to carry the marker staff. It is a rod the length of my forearm tapered at the lower end and holding a clear stone at the top. I hold it high in the air waiting. It catches the light, and its shadow forms an eye directly in the middle of the equinox stones. Spirits surround me. They stop and nod, or at least make eye contact before moving on. "Mother?" She could be an older version of myself. She smiles at me, then, fades as an old presence joins me. This spirit isn't just old; it's ancient. It exudes wisdom and understanding, peace and culture. We celebrate, together, to the music of creation. I seem to know the dance but not as well as she. We are alone only briefly before being joined by another. They dance as if they know each other's every move. I try to keep up. When I falter, they smile, laugh and show me how. There is no passage of time. We dance together for an instant and forever. I shouldn't, but I open my eyes. My shadow, marking the equinox, isn't a shadow, it is a shimmering swirl of blended light. The stone in the top of my staff is flicking with a brilliant white accented by scintillating bands of many colours. I quickly close my eyes but the ancients are gone. We all open our eyes. My shadow falls through the standing stones as it should. And it is black, also, as it should be. They had danced with me.Complete

Mysterious Time Traveler in Dwapara Yuga
In the mystical era of Dwapara Yuga, there existed a mysterious time traveler-a girl who wove her existence through countless aliases, concealing her true name and identity. Only four individuals knew her intimately, forming an unbreakable bond that transcended lifetimes. Together, they navigated the ebb and flow of existence, from life to death and back again. Behind the veil of secrecy, she held immense power. Since her teenage years, she had subtly shaped the world, showing kindness to those who deserved it and unleashing wrath upon those who dared to cross her. To her loved ones, she appeared as an innocent child, her personality bubbling with warmth. But to outsiders, she emanated an enigmatic calmness-a silent force that could alter destinies. In an unexpected twist of fate, she found herself transported back to the era of great warriors-a time when valour clashed against destiny, and legends were forged in the crucible of battle. The catalyst for this temporal journey was a seemingly innocuous mistake made by someone she deeply cared for-a mistake that reverberated through the ages. She found herself reborn as the daughter of a benevolent king and queen. Three elder brothers surrounded her, their protective love shielding her from the tumultuous currents of fate. And so, she stepped into the annals of history, her modern sensibilities colliding with an ancient world.
