He stared at the front board where the teacher was teaching Chemistry while I sat in the back, battling my tears. He thought it was okay to do this to me. I suppose it was okay. After all, it was my own fault for being a naive freshman who thought that the senior boy wouldn't hurt her. I should've listened to the warnings. My few friends did warn me. Hell, even my brother warned me although he didn't know about what had happened and what was currently going on. But as kids do, they grew up. Each child grew into an adult and with some pressure from Abuela, they began looking for partners. Pepa married her childhood friend, Félix, and it was the beginning of Bruno's bad reputation. Julieta, on the other hand, married a clumsy man named Augustin. After their marriages, both women were pregnant soon. And Abuela was delighted to have more magical blessings on the way. Delores and Isabela were born first. The very first grandchildren to the Madrigal family. But between their birth and when they received their powers, Bruno's reputation continued to deteriorate.
