In a quiet town where whispers of the past linger like shadows, Ammy is anything but ordinary. To her new friends, Sarah and her charismatic cousin Anwil, she appears to be the innocent girl, a shy soul struggling to break free from the confines of her introverted existence. Eager to forge deeper connections, Ammy yearns to leave her past behind and embrace the promise of friendship and new beginnings. As Ammy spends more time with Sarah and Anwil, she discovers a warmth and acceptance that ignites a long-dormant spark within her. She finds solace in their laughter and camaraderie, but as the bonds deepen, so does a forbidden longing for Anwil, a boy who embodies everything she desires. However, unbeknownst to them, Ammy carries a heavy secret that she dares not reveal-a dark past that haunts her, one she desperately wants to escape. Ammy's internal struggle intensifies when she realizes she is not only falling for Anwil but is also linked to a tragic event that shattered the lives of those around her. The boy who once called her a mfriend, the boy she murdered in a moment of panic, is intricately woven into the fabric of their lives through his own best friend-Anwil. The closer she gets to Anwil and Sarah, the more her heart races, torn between love and guilt. *Beyond the Distraction* delves into themes of redemption, unearthing the truth, and the complexities of love born from tragedy. As Ammy grapples with her past and the guilt that threatens to engulf her, will she find a way to reconcile her dark history with the bright future she longs to embrace? Or will the burdens she carries inevitably unravel the fragile connections she has built? In a world where perceptions can be misleading and the heart wants what it wants, Ammy must navigate the delicate balance between truth and distraction.
