Amber is a German Shepherd in a happy home. Well, she thought it was a happy home. When her owner, Emily, is forced to throw her out of the house because of her new boyfriend, Derek, who despised dogs. Emily is forced to give up her beloved pet, a decision Emily didn't want to make.
Amber's life ends up in the Vet's hands after she gets involved in an accident and has to wait for a new home, which seems out of reach.
