Daisy Payne isn't just a young jockey. She's a young jockey who can't race anymore! After her protective cousin, Samantha, tries to save her from a life of avoiding her tragic past, any sense of accomplishment is taken away from her, along with any sense of familiarity. Armed with just her favorite horse, Aspen Goldsmith, Samantha's ferocity, and her famous "Naughty Pixie" smile, Daisy has to adjust to a typical, thrill-free life dictated by her cousin, or so she thinks. When she meets the quirky and vaguely familiar Ernest Honestly, one of her eccentric neighbors and fellow horse lover, she realizes that she'll have to choose between a life on the racetrack, keeping her distracted, or facing the many, many painful facts every day.

Please comment with any thoughts you have while reading! I'd love to know what each of you thinks! Expect a new chapter towards the beginning of every week, and maybe another towards the end. Enjoy!
