Nikki meets Shawn in a very weird way, on a very crappy day. Then she stumbles upon meeting the rest of the Magcon boys. She's broken. She doesn't want to be hurt again. Her ex-boyfriend, Nolan hurt her really bad. He made it hard for her to trust people. Which caused her to be surprised when she trusted Shawn right away. Her best friend Riley talked her into getting back at her ex-boyfriend for the pain and suffering he caused her. They end up bringing Riley's cousin, Bertie into the plan. Nikki can never feel for Bertie the way that she's beginning to feel for Shawn. But she doesn't want to like Shawn. She promised herself she wouldn't fall. But how can she not fall for the beautiful, sweet Canadian boy?
