"Cat's acting so weird," Carl shook his head as we watched Catrina throw knives at the tree beside her house. Its been a week since Enid, Jamie and Catrina's incident.
"She's starting to worry me," I said, biting my cheeks and knotting my eyebrows together. Jamie said nothing, she was deep in thought.
"I should go talk to her," Carl got up from the swing on Catrina's porch and walked slowly over to Catrina.
"Yeah, go ahead and baby your girlfriend. I'M THE ONE WHO GOT KICKED IN THE FACE A MILLION TIMES," Jamie muttered angrily. Maybe I wasn't supposed to hear that, but she sounded REALLY jealous.

I'd been so worried about how she is mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. She jumped into action immediately after, coming with me to get formula, and didn't stop until we got back to our mattress. She didn't sleep much, and I followed her out as she let out what she had been holding all day. I also have been holding back something for the past couple of weeks. And I want to be able to tell her, but with everything going on, I'm not sure when it's the appropriate time. Hell, the words have never been formed in my mouth. Not even with my brother.
