Waking up on December 17th, 2027. It was like I was being born again...

I'm in 10th grade, 16 years old, the age every little kid dreams to be and every adult will remember, I mean especially me. I will remember what happened to me at 16 years old for the rest of my life.
I was scared out of mind waking up knowing a completely different language, not knowing the people giving me hugs or saying it will get better.
I replied with "誰があなたたちで、何が起こっています" ("who are you guys and what is going on?") Everyone stared at me in silence and I had no idea what just came out of my mouth. I spoke fluent Japanese...

What would you do if you woke up with people you didn't know the least bit, surrounding you, giving you hugs and kisses in a hospital? The strangest part was they were speaking a different language.

Emmy's life is going just as she'd planned: She's living in her own apartment, dancing every day and is just leaps away from being named her company's next Prima ballerina. And she's only 17. But all of Emmy's plans come to a screeching halt when the FBI shows up at her door to let her know that she's being stalked by a serial killer. Suddenly, the safe, insulated world she created for herself is riddled with violence, fear...and a growing pile of dead bodies. At first Emmy wants nothing more than to forget her chilling new reality - but her admirer isn't finished with her yet, and before she knows it, Emmy's stuck in a nightmare she can't dance her way out of.
