My eyes started to droop, knowing I had to stay awake, I hauled myself up with a bucket load of obscenities. I moved to the arch of the doorway, held on to it for a moment, then tried to make my way towards the front door. The hallway seemed to expand, the stairs running from me like an illusion. I heard a bang, then fell to my knees. Again. I layed there, the exhaustion taking over. I heard footsteps, more than one pair this time. "Oh my god" I heard someone gasp. I felt someone kneel next to me, putting their fingers on the side of my neck, checking my pulse. "She's still alive, but we need to get her back to HQ, like now!" I heard someone yell out my name, but I let the cloudiness take over and the next thing I knew, I felt like I was flying
